Hot (Inna album)

Hot is the debut studio album of Romanian recording artist Inna. It was released in Poland on August 4, 2009 and in Russia on September 22, 2009 by her Romanian label Roton Records. The album entered the Polish Albums Chart in August 2009 and the Czech Albums Charts in February 2010, debuting and peaking at number twenty-eight and number seven respectively. The standard edition content eleven tracks while the Romanian edition contains fourteen tracks, one of them being the new recorded song "10 Minutes". The track also was part of the album re-release in certain countries in spring 2010. After the massive debut track "Hot" and the follow up singles "Love", "Amazing" and the Bob Taylor song "Déjà Vu", in which Inna appears as a featured artist, "10 Minutes" was released as the fifth single taken from the album. In France and the United Kingdom the track "Sun Is Up" was released as a sixth single from "Hot" while in other countries it was the lead single from Inna's second album "I Am The Club Rocker!". The album went on to sell 120,000 copies in France, 80,000 copies in the Netherlands, 50,000 copies in Mexico, 35,000 copies in Belgium, 30,000 copies in Poland, 20,000 copies in Romania, 15,000 copies in Hungary and approximately 20,000 copies in the United Kingdom. In the United States and Canada it has sold less than 10,000 copies as of September 2011. Overall, the album has sold over 500,000 units worldwide.
== Release ==
"Hot" was first released in Poland, via Roton Records, on August 4, 2009, followed by the Russian release on September 22, 2009. In Czech Republic, Universal Music released a 17-track edition of "Hot" on February 22, 2010, which featured a new song titled "10 Minutes" and special remixes of the hit singles "Hot", "Love" and "10 Minutes". The Romanian release date was pushed off from August 2009 to November 2009 and then to Spring 2010. Inna and her producers Play & Win stated that they delayed the Romanian launching because they want it to be perfect and they had to add new songs in order to create the greatest album of the year. It finally was released in March 2010 and included both the radio edit and the club remix of "10 Minutes" as well as the U.S. Version of "Hot" as new tracks. The album later was released in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain and Germany because of the overwhelming success of "Hot" and "Amazing", which both entered several European charts. The Spanish version of the album includes the bonus track "Un Momento", a collaboration with Spanish remixer, producer and DJ Juan Magan.
Before Christmas 2010, a CD+DVD Collectors Edition of the album, entitled "Very Hot", was released in France. It features remixes of "Hot" and "Love" as well as Inna's Christmas track "I Need You For Christmas", which was written and produced by Play & Win and released by Roton Records in Romania at Christmas 2009 in edition EP with three new tracks. The edition also includes a DVD with all of Inna's music videos. In 2011, the album was re-released again and included "I Need You For Christmas" and the new song "Sun is Up".
On June 5, 2011, "Hot" was released in United Kingdom, featuring "Sun Is Up", "Un Momento" and remixes of "Hot", "Amazing", "Déjà Vu" and "10 Minutes".
The Romanian cover artwork was decided by Inna's fans, who had the chance to vote for their favourite artwork out of five pictures.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Inna - Summer Days )〕 Inna’s labels released every new edition of "Hot" with different cover artwork.
